As the weather is gradually getting colder, "Happy Power Source" would like to remind you to keep warm and do a good job in the maintenance of batteries.
During the maintenance of batteries, please pay attention to the following items:
• Batteries should never be charged in areas where the temperature is below 0 °C.
• Batteries have poor charging acceptance ability in a low-temperature environment, and phenomena such as insufficient charging or overly long charging time may occur. Therefore, avoid charging batteries in outdoor low-temperature environments to prevent short usage time and irreversible sulfation of batteries caused by insufficient charging.
• After being used, the density of the battery electrolyte is relatively low. Storing it in a low-temperature environment makes it easy for the electrolyte to freeze and damage the battery, resulting in the premature termination of the battery's service life. Therefore, batteries that have been used in a low-temperature environment should be charged in a timely manner to prevent battery damage caused by the freezing of the electrolyte.
• Due to the problem of insufficient charging that easily occurs in a low-temperature environment, the discharging ability of batteries will decline, which will affect the performance of vehicles. Batteries should be charged in a timely manner to ensure that they are in a better state and prevent the occurrence of sulfation in batteries, which may affect the usage time and service life of batteries.
• As the temperature drops, the electrolyte level will also drop. Please pay attention to checking the battery liquid level.
