Enterprise development history

In 1968

Headquarters: It was founded in 1968. Its predecessor was Ningbo Donghai Storage Battery Factory, a national second-class enterprise. In 1996, it was restructured into Ningbo Donghai Storage BATTERY Co., Ltd.. 

In 2009

Jiangsu Happy Power Supply (Lianshui) Co., LTD.,：It was founded in 2009 and is wholly-owned by Ningbo Donghai Storage BATTERY Co., Ltd.

In 2011

In October 2011, it obtained the "ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification", the "ISO14001 Environmental Management System Certification" and the "ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification".

In November 2011, the high-performance special lead-acid storage batteries for coal mines obtained the "Certification for Safety Mark of Mining Products".

In 2012

In January 2012, it was approved to obtain the "National Industrial Product Production License" for lead-acid storage batteries.

In October 2012, it was approved to be a "Measurement Assurance Confirmation Unit".

In October 2012, the high-performance explosion-proof forklift batteries for traction obtained the "Explosion-proof Electrical Product Certification".

In December 2012, it was approved to obtain the "Export Product License Certificate".  

In 2013

In May 2013, it was approved as an "Enterprise with Good Standardization Behavior in Jiangsu Province".

In July 2013, it was approved as a "Private Science and Technology Enterprise in Jiangsu Province".

In October 2013, it was approved as a "Third-level Enterprise for Work Safety Standardization". 

In 2014

In May 2014, it was approved as a "Jiangsu Province Postgraduate Workstation".

In August 2014, it obtained the "IATF16949 Quality Management System Certification".

In September 2014, it was approved as a "High-tech Enterprise".

In October 2014, the high-performance explosion-proof forklift batteries for traction won the "Huai'an Science and Technology Progress Award". 

In 2015

In January 2015, it was approved as a "Huai'an Industry-University-Research Demonstration Enterprise".

In September 2015, the high-performance lead-acid storage batteries for traction won the title of "High-tech Product of Jiangsu Province".

In 2016

In November 2016, it was approved as a "Jiangsu Province Engineering Technology Research Center".

In December 2016, it was approved as a "Qualified Unit for Standardization of Enterprise Intellectual Property Management in Jiangsu Province".

In 2017

In February 2017, the marine batteries obtained the classification society certification.

In August 2017, the "CE Certification" was obtained.

In December 2017, the high-performance lead-acid storage batteries for traction won the title of "Famous Brand Product of Jiangsu Province".   

In 2018

In January 2018, it was approved as an "Advanced Unit in the Creation of Trustworthy Consumption in Jiangsu Province".

In January 2018, it was approved as an "Enterprise with AA-level Quality Credit in Jiangsu Province".

In March 2018, it won the "County Chief's Quality Award".

In June 2018, it was approved as a "Pilot Enterprise for Implementing the Integration of Informatization and Industrialization Management System in Jiangsu Province".

In July 2018, it was approved as a "Key R&D Institution in Huai'an City".

In October 2018, it was approved as a "Jiangsu Province Enterprise Technology Center".

In 2020

In July 2020, it won the "Huai'an Quality Management Award".

In 2021

In December 2021, it was approved as an "Enterprise with AAA-level Quality Credit in Jiangsu Province". 

In 2022

In December 2022, it was approved as a "Specialized, Refined, Characteristic and Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise in Jiangsu Province".

In December 2022, it was approved as an "Advanced Unit for High-quality Intellectual Property Creation in Huai'an City".

In 2023

In November 2023, the high-performance lead-acid storage batteries for traction won the title of "Jiangsu High-Quality Products".

In 2025

In July 2025, it obtained the "ISO50001 Energy Management System Certification".
